Getting There

By public transport: Take the U2 subway line toward Messestadt Ost, direct to the fairgrounds. It’s about 20 minutes from Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), with no changes needed.

By car: The venue sits right off the A94 freeway (exit München-Riem). On-site signage and a dynamic traffic system will direct you to available visitor parking during the show.

Parking costs: €15/day in the outdoor car park, €21/day in the multi-storey car park (2026 rates). Parking is not free – budget accordingly, or take public transport to skip the fee altogether.

EV charging: Free charging is available at the Parkhaus West garage (over 80 stations) and one supercharger – standard parking fees still apply, and you’ll need an RFID-enabled card (often built into hotel key cards or EC cards).

By bike: Bicycle stands are available at the East and West entrances.

Do I need a pre-registered ticket?

Yes. electronica is a trade-only event, so all visitors must register online in advance through the official ticket shop and create a Messe München account. Can I book a meeting with Promax in advance?

Yes, and we recommend it – our booth gets busy across all four days, and booking ahead guarantees dedicated time with our technical team rather than a walk-up queue. Simply fill out the appointment form above with your preferred date and time, and we’ll confirm your slot by email before the show.

What should I bring?
